In the Harbour, Hongkong, about 100 yds East of Statue Wharf.

About twelve feet, when almost Low Tide

F.T.James was being pursued by the Police who had been called to suppress fighting and quarrelling in the King Edvaru x......... to made a clean jump from the Praya Wall into the Harbour. He is believed to be a non-amimmer and had been drinking. He sank immediat- ely E.J.Field immediately jumped in after James and twice took him from the Water into a boat before landing hin. James struggled violently

F.T.James, was removed to the Central Police Station, and subsequently to the Government Civil Hospital,

Artifical Respiration was adopted with success by Police Acting Lance Sergt's Monroe & Taylor.

This Paper to be accompanied by Certificates of one or more eye-witnesses, who should add their Profession or Trade after Signature, and state fully, in their own handwriting, the precise nature of the Claimant's exertions, showing the act- ual risk he thereby incurred.

Should the Patient have been taken to a Public House, a Certificate of the Landlord, verified also by the Medical Att- endant should be attached) and stating what accomodation was afforded.
